Description:

Hierarchical production planning systems facilitate decision making by decomposing the problem into subproblems in the organisational hierarchy context. However, the hierarchical production planning system also faces unexpected events. The pursued goal is to help manage non-scheduled decisions caused by unexpected events in decision-making support systems for hierarchical planning production and for DSS to be a useful tool to help decide how to manage these unexpected events.
