future<\/h3><p>The 20th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management (ICIEIM) and XXX Congreso de Ingenier\u00eda de Organizaci\u00f3n (CIO 2026), sponsored by ADINGOR (Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Ingenier\u00eda de Organizaci\u00f3n) and organised by CIGIP at the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, was held in Alcoy on 2 and 3 July 2026 under the motto &#8220;Organising the Future: People, AI, Ethics and Sustainable Industrial Engineering&#8221;.<\/p><p>The conference set out to foster the industrial transition towards a more sustainable, digital, resilient and people-centred economic model, by disseminating knowledge in industrial engineering and management, digital transformation and sustainable operations management, and by encouraging transfer between the scientific system and the manufacturing and service sectors.<\/p><p>This edition brought together 134 papers by 322 authors from 78 organisations in 18 countries.<\/p><h3>Keynote talks<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Artificial Intelligence-enabled viable supply chains<\/strong>, by Dmitry Ivanov (Berlin School of Economics and Law).<\/li><li><strong>Reimagining Engineering Education 5.0: From Technical Expertise to Future-Oriented Competence Development<\/strong>, by Manuel Woschank (Montanuniversit\u00e4t Leoben) and Corina Pacher (Resources Innovation Center Leoben), with the European Professors of Industrial Engineering and Management (EPIEM).<\/li><\/ul><h3>Committees<\/h3><p>The Conference Chair was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/fmula\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Josefa Mula<\/a>. The Scientific Committee was chaired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/fcodiama\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manuel D\u00edaz-Madro\u00f1ero<\/a> and co-chaired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/beaanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beatriz Andr\u00e9s<\/a>, and the Organising Committee was chaired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/rasangi1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Raquel Sanchis<\/a> and co-chaired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upv.es\/ficha-personal\/elpeber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elena P\u00e9rez Bernabeu<\/a>.
