Description:

The project objective includes several interconnected aspects. It intends to cope with the research demand in high performance manufacturing (HPM), especially in relation to the key contingency and connection aspects of best business production practices in successful plants, as detected in the study of surveys and in publications on this subject. This will help content and instruments of experimentation to be developed and the transfer of HPM-related research results based towards improvement in Spanish plants (in both the business and academic contexts). Thus we echo the corresponding needs that have been expressed from various scopes (Europe, Asia and North America).
