Description:

Today, it is possible to affirm that not only individual organizations compete with each other, but that this competition has reached the level of the supply chain. This fact, together with other circumstances such as extreme customer dominance, qualitative technological advances and sustainability issues result in a complex situation in which winning supply chains must supply highly customized products-services as soon as possible, producing only those products-services that have a high probability of success and maximizing the use of resources throughout the chain. Then, this project was born after having analyzed the entire life cycle of the supply chain following a kaleidoscopic approach, detecting where the main improvements could take place and then proposing the creation, application and validation of solutions (models, methodologies and tools) , which will make a difference with respect not only to the main operations of complex supply chains, such as the shortest time to market, savings in production resources or the design and engineering of products-services, but also with respect to soft operations, such as knowledge management or business models to develop sustainable competitive advantages.

Then, below we highlight the situation, from the point of view of the scientific literature, of the main sources of improvement detected for supply chains with respect to: collaborative design, collaborative engineering, collaborative manufacturing, business models, market evaluation , monitoring, control and management, and support of ICTs.

The main objective of the INNOPROS project is to develop a framework that covers the main areas identified and presented above of the supply chains to offer highly innovative and personalized products-services, produced efficiently. Said INNOPROS framework will provide a highly interactive environment to all relevant stakeholders, covering the entire value chain from ideas to delivery, allowing communication and collaboration between them and fostering creative practices and activities.

The INNOPROS project will focus on generating knowledge based on the development and application of methodologies, models and tools to allow, support and promote the creation of efficient, complex and customizable products-services to fully satisfy the needs and desires of customers.
The main objectives of the proposal are:

  • 1: Select a multi-sided / multi-faceted platform to support all INNOPROS methodologies, models and tools
  • 2: Design and develop INNOPROS methodologies, models and tools.
  • 3: Implement the INNOPROS multilevel platform and business games.
  • 4: Validate the INNOPROS platform, business games, methodologies, models and tools.
  • 5: Generate impact from the results of INNOPROS through communication, dissemination and exploitation activities.
