Ana Esteso, Associate Professor in the Department of Business Organisation and CIGIP researcher, has received the Teaching Excellence Award of the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Carolina Argente and José M. Ferrero also received the award this year.
In her speech, Ana Esteso recalled her first class, in 2016, in her favourite subject, Quantitative Methods, and shared the recognition with her students. She stressed that what sets university lecturers apart is not only knowledge, but what cannot be automated: empathy, listening and supporting students as they learn and grow as people and future professionals.
She also thanked the ETSII, CIGIP, the Department of Business Organisation, her colleagues, her students and her family for their support. CIGIP congratulates her on this award.
