Organising the future

The 20th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management (ICIEIM) and XXX Congreso de Ingeniería de Organización (CIO 2026), sponsored by ADINGOR (Asociación para el Desarrollo de la Ingeniería de Organización) and organised by CIGIP at the Universitat Politècnica de València, was held in Alcoy on 2 and 3 July 2026 under the motto “Organising the Future: People, AI, Ethics and Sustainable Industrial Engineering”.

The conference set out to foster the industrial transition towards a more sustainable, digital, resilient and people-centred economic model, by disseminating knowledge in industrial engineering and management, digital transformation and sustainable operations management, and by encouraging transfer between the scientific system and the manufacturing and service sectors.

This edition brought together 134 papers by 322 authors from 78 organisations in 18 countries.
