Description:
The goal of the project is to transform GPM into a common practice for SMEs (the so-called GPMSME).
This goal will be achieved by fulfilling three main objectives:
- On a cross-sectorial basis, assess why PM is not working for SMEs.
- Focusing initially on two relevant sectors (Automotive, Consumer Goods), define a general framework for GPM in SMEs, including:
- A methodology to help SMEs in defining, developing, deploying and operating GPM.
- An SME-oriented architecture providing reference models and supporting techniques.
- A toolset, specifically adapted to SMEs, to support them in bridging the gap between concepts and efficient and effective real-world instruments.
- Pave the way for broad dissemination and exploitation of the results on a cross-sectorial basis.
Among other actions and outcomes for this specific objective, we should highlight one we consider especially relevant, the GPM-SME Tutorial.
The project will thereby deliver four main products (Methodology, Architecture, Toolset and Tutorial) which will provide direct and specific answers for each of the six SME PM challenges
