Ros Casares approaches university

The Valencian company is the object of analysis at the IX ‘Polytechnic City of Innovation’ Meeting, where the company presented the lines of action in R&D&I

Last Wednesday, the Polytechnic University of Valencia held the IX ‘Polytechnic City of Innovation’ (CPI) Meeting, which on this occasion featured Francisco Ros García, president of the Ros Casares Group.

The conference organized by the CPI Business Circle was titled “R&D in the Supply Chain. The Ros Casares case”, in such a way that the Valencian company, with more than 50 years of experience, was taken as an example, not only in research and development but also in terms of its trajectory and achievements.

Francisco Mora, director of the CPI, defined the speaker as an example of the existing collaboration between the Polytechnic and companies, and in this case between Ros Casares, a leading Spanish company in the sector of service centers and distribution of products related to the steel, and the Center for Research, Management and Production Engineering (CIGIP). Also at the presidential table were the general director of IMPIVA, Fernando Vidal, and the general director of Coordination of Scientific and Technological Infrastructures, Jaime González, as a sign of the importance of joint work between administration, university and companies, something that Francisco also claimed. Ros in his speech.

Intervention, in which he reviewed the evolution of the business group, and detailed as a scoop the new structure of the Ros Casares Corporation. The Corporate Holding now looks like this: Grupo Ros Casares (Distribution), Plisa (Logistics), Brava Industrial (Industrial Division), Ros Casares Centro del Acero (Industrial Transformation), RC Fomento (Real Estate and Construction) and finally Ros Casares RRE ( Environment).

The president and CEO highlighted the importance of knowledge, as well as insisted on the relevance of strategic alliances, such as those that the Valencian group has with DHL, Zamorano, Remondis, the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo, El Banco de Valencia or Thyssen.

The director of operations of Ros Casares was in charge of presenting the current and future lines of R&D&I and pointed out that the success of the company is teamwork.
